On a winding road east of Bancroft, set on a hilltop with hydro available at the back corner of the lot is an historic log cabin that is likely the oldest home still standing in the Denbigh area. Hand hewn logs, a steel roof (2019) and a setting out of a picture book are enough to get started on your building project. The interior is open and there is no plumbing, heating, well, septic or room divisions. There are stairs to a loft area but the floor is not safe and would need to be brought to standard.
